He ended up choosing salmon for his birthday meal, but we decided to have it tonight so he could truly feast.
Michael's meal of choice: salmon, mashed potatoes, green beans, and orange soda.And for his cake, he picked a King's Cake!
But Nicholas was the one who found the baby in the cake.

What fun! I just realized my youngest celebrates her birthday on Good Friday this year...we may have to celebrate early:)
It definitely was a win-win solution for us. Ironically enough, he was born on Ash Wednesday as well. He didn't mind that nearly so much though.
