Celebrate the Birth of Pennsylvania Families for Safe Birth…

…a consumer-driven coalition of families and professionals to
promote legislation and policies grounded in the Midwives Model of
Care and to support families' access to safe, appropriate, evidence-
based care during pregnancy, labor, birth and the postpartum

Supports legislation that licenses Certified Professional Midwives
(CPMs) in Pennsylvania
Raises awareness and support for families choosing an out-of-
hospital birth as a safe, appropriate option
Supports safe family and baby initiatives in all birth settings.

The Big Push is a nationally coordinated campaign to advocate for
regulation and licensure of Certified Professional Midwives (CPMs)
in all 50 states and the District of Columbia . This effort is led
by the National Birth Policy Coalition.
